A Replicable Model of Rural Revival

This isn’t just about one farmer. College students in Kodaikanal now work with us in farm, hospitality, and design roles — gaining life-changing skills.

Our vision is to replicate this model across India, showing that marginal farms can flourish with the right support, tech, and direct access to markets.

In the heartlands of India, over 85% of our farmers are "marginal", owning less than 2 hectares of land. With little access to modern techniques, unpredictable weather patterns, rising input costs, and crushing debt, their lives teeter between hardship and heartbreak.

A recent article from Krishi Spray outlines the glaring gaps: poor access to credit, outdated methods, market exploitation, and lack of awareness. As Jiva.ag explains, even basic soil health or pest management support is often absent. And stories like those in The Statesman reveal how systemic neglect leads to depression, migration, and in many cases — suicide.
